What's a great day... When I start a project and have no idea the time that's passed until I see the sunrise on a new day!
I grew up in beautiful, rural Chester County and still call it home with my husband and two bad pusses, Char-Li and Chester. I often find myself standing in the middle of the yard just breathing in the fragrances of the day or night.
For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed creating with my hands... embroidery, needlepoint, paper crafting, floral arranging, painting.
With four brothers and a neighborhood of boys, I was a tomboy so there is only one picture of me wearing any jewelry until I had my ears pierced. That piece was an enameled pin of a pansy that was my grandmother's.
My sister-in-law, Jan, talked me into taking several wirework classes with her at a local shop.
This has taken me along a windy road to learning different techniques of wire working, beading, stringing, and metal working.
Finally... after a career in the corporate world, I am working less and "funning" more.
Life is good!
